So, after the race for the cure I went to Gahanna for it’s annual Herb Day. I didn’t take many pictures, but it was pretty:
Then it was off to my Aunt Suzie’s and Uncle Eddie’s for a Welcome Spring get together. Too bad spring didn’t get the invite because the weather was still a bit crappy for the next few days!
So what does one do at Herb Day? Is it just using various cooking herbs in recipes? Or are you celebrating someone named Herb?

Hee, herb was not in attendance, at least that I could see.
Herb Day is an event where the city sells herb plants all day along with cooking demos, presentations and stuff like that. I didn’t stay for the whole thing, I just bought herbs and left. Here’s a link explaining it better than I can: http://www.ohioherbcenter.org/herbday.html
Wee bit of a funny story though: I had come from the race for the cure and didn’t think about it. I still had my pink in celebration of sign on the back of my shirt. Finally someone asked me who Penny was and I about died laughing because I had completely forgotten to take off the sign.
