Well, the kittens are doing well. This surprises me because the mama cat has never taken good care of her kittens. They either die (which just kills me), or I have to take care of them.

Mama cat keeps putting the babies back in their “cubby”. I kept taking them out because it was so hot today.

Yes, this one is panting and reminds me of LOLCats.

It was a gorgeous day again here. (It’s a record 2 days in a row for Ohio!) I was sitting in the back yard and just pointed my camera up:

It’s been raining, cold and dreary here today, so imagine my surprise when I saw a strange light in the sky. It was the sun, which I thought we weren’t supposed to see for days. With the dark clouds, it created some strange lighting which I don’t think my camera picked up, but I tried:

Looks like we won't be using the firepit until the water comes down. On the plus side, we can always race toy boats!

The hubby was staining a deck for the in laws and with my back being out, I didn’t have much to do, so I took some pictures

There was a female and male cardnial chasing each other. I finally got a pic of one of them.

There were birds all over the place. Of course, I was afraid of getting pooped on, because I couldn’t move all that fast. Then there were fat bumblebees and those motivated me to move….

These guys like to hang out at the Limited, which is all but 5 minutes from our house. I think they were just checking things out here. Especially since our back yards are nothing but mud lakes!

It's all about the beginning of life around here! Kittens!

So, I have had my hair colored professionally before, but have never done it on my own. Since I have found some *whispers* gray hairs, and have no money I decided to try my hand at it. The funny part is that I was so nervous, my hubby helped to make sure I didn’t “miss” any spots!

It wasn’t that big of a change. I wanted to be subtle for the first time coloring it in case I messed it up royally. *whispers* but the gray is covered now.

Next time I think I will go just a bit lighter. And no, I never have my picture taken because I look like an idiot.
